Very Well Said

100_1824

This is a poem written on the cover of a small notebook that my Mom gave me and it is so very well said.

A cottage small is all I’m after,

Not one that’s spacious and wide

A house that rings with joy and laughter

And the ones you love inside

Life is full of a delightful melody

Some like the high road, I like the low road,

Free from the care and strife

Sounds corny and seedy, but yes, indeedy

I like the simple life…

Some find it pleasant dining on pheasant

Those things roll of my knife

Just serve me tomatoes and mashed potatoes

Give me the simple life

On a crystal clear blue morning

There is a peace that only you can know

It is truth and love and it is always there

Love Shines

Oh it shines

Like an eternal sun it shines
