3-4 c. of steamed okara
1/4 of an onion
3-4 cloves of garlic
3 c. of quick oats
1 tsp. of each: salt, cumin, pepper, etc.
- Blend tomatoes, onion, garlic, and seasonings in a blender or food processor
- Add above mixture to the steamed okara
- Stir in oats to the above mixture
- Form nuggets with hands and coat in flour
- Heat cooking oil
- Fry nuggets on both sides until they look good
NB- I’ve tried this recipe with Yemeni and expat omnivores and they liked it!
