Homemade Salad Dressing

While visiting Sana’a Qadeem, Mystic Lover’s wife made some of the best salad dressing I ever tasted.  The best part about the dressing was that it was homemade and easy to make.  I really appreciate simplicity and cooking with ingredients and produce vs. products!  Who needs to dress their salad with high fructose corn syrup or soybean oil anyway?

Here’s my attempt at writing a recipe for it.  I personally have issues with following recipes- no matter how hard I try, I always seem to “personalize” a given recipe.  Enjoy and, of course, feel free to “personalize” it for yourself.

¼ cup white vinegar apple cider vinegar

½ cup extra virgin olive oil

½ cup of pure honey

2 tsp. black pepper

2 tsp. sea salt

3 cloves of chopped garlic

Shake well, taste before serving and “tweak” as necessary.  Enjoy over a healthy bed of greens and salad fixings.

Appetizing?...I know!
